Files and drives
Work with files while keeping personal and shared access clear.
On this page
choose the right drive#
Open Drives in the sidebar. Puffle supports a personal drive, an organization drive shared with the workspace, and shared drives whose owners grant access.
| drive | intended use |
|---|---|
| Personal | Files belonging to you. |
| Organization | Files shared across the workspace. |
| Shared | Files for the people given viewer or editor access. |
upload and use a file#
Choose the intended drive before uploading. Check its sharing settings, then select the file you want to add. Ask Puffle to work with a specific file so it knows which source to use.
Read the launch brief in our organization drive and summarize the milestones and unanswered questions.
Puffle accesses files through the available drive tools. Some work requires downloading a file to the session computer. Large files and available storage can affect whether an upload or task succeeds.
understand what is shared#
Changing a shared drive’s membership changes access to that drive. It does not make its contents a separate company memory store. Drive files are not automatically searched or injected into every chat.
If a file is missing, check the workspace, selected drive, and your access. Ask the drive owner to review viewer or editor membership if necessary.
