Connect GitHub

Work with the repositories, issues, and pull requests your account can access.

On this page

choose the account and repositories#

Check which GitHub account or organization owns the repositories you want to use. Installing an app for an organization may require its administrator’s approval.

connect from plugins#

  1. Open Plugins and find GitHub.
  2. Start the connection and choose personal or workspace scope where offered.
  3. Complete the GitHub authorization or installation flow.
  4. Review the repositories included in the installation.
  5. Return to Puffle, refresh the account list if needed, and inspect Tool permissions.

Use Configure in GitHub to change the repositories available to an installed account.

verify with a read-only task#

Try asking Puffle

Find the open issues in my connected website repository and summarize the three most recently updated ones. Do not change any issues.

If Puffle cannot see a repository, check the installation’s repository selection and your organization’s approval requirements.

move from reading to action#

After verifying access, ask for a bounded action and review any approval request. Check the result in GitHub as well as in the chat.

Try asking Puffle

Draft a description for a GitHub issue covering the missing mobile navigation. Show me the draft before creating the issue.

Use Accounts and permissions for shared access and Connection troubleshooting for expired authorization.
